How to disable raids on a Palworld server?

Sick of raids wiping your base at the worst moment? Kill them for good in two minutes without breaking your save. Follow this step-by-step and lock down your Palworld server.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Oxygenserv panel (your login and password)
  • A Palworld server installed and launched at least once
  • Know how to stop/start the server from the panel
  • File editor in the panel or an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla)
  • A backup of Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

Detailed steps

  1. Cleanly stop the server
Log in to the Oxygenserv panel and open your Palworld server page. Click the red “Stop” button and confirm. Wait until the logs show “Server stopped” and the status is fully stopped. Do not continue until it’s completely off, or your changes may be overwritten on restart.
  2. Open the server configuration
Go to the “Files” tab and open the config folder. The file you need is Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini. If it’s missing, start the server once to generate configs, then stop it. You can also use the panel’s “Server Settings” editor if available (safer and easier to find the right option).
  3. Disable raids (invaders)
In the editor, find the key bEnableInvaderEnemy. Set it to False (write exactly bEnableInvaderEnemy=False). If the line is missing, add it under the Palworld settings block, keeping the same format as other options. Save your changes (“Save” button) and make sure no error appears.
  4. Restart and verify in-game
Go back to “Console” and click the green “Start” button. Watch the logs: usual startup lines should end with “Server started”. Join your server and play a few in-game days: no raid events should trigger anymore. If a raid still happens, check for a duplicate bEnableInvaderEnemy further down the file that could override your value.

Tips & optimization

Want less pressure without fully disabling raids? Keep bEnableInvaderEnemy=True and beef up defenses (walls, turrets) and set patrol routines. Always back up PalWorldSettings.ini before changes so you can roll back in seconds. After any config change, restart the server—Palworld won’t apply it with a simple reload.

FAQ

I set bEnableInvaderEnemy=False but raids still happen. Why?

There’s usually a duplicate key overriding your value. Open PalWorldSettings.ini and search all occurrences of bEnableInvaderEnemy; keep only bEnableInvaderEnemy=False. Also confirm you edited the correct file at Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini and that you restarted the server after saving.

I can’t find PalWorldSettings.ini. What now?

Start the server once to generate configs, stop it, then refresh the file browser. The correct path is Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini. If it still doesn’t exist, create it and add bEnableInvaderEnemy=False, then restart.

Nice, you’ve taken control of raids. Need more Palworld tweaks? We’re here to help you fine-tune your server fast and clean.
